Dust off that instrument and come and play!

Do you play an instrument at home and wish to join a sympathetic music group?

This new group will be for any acoustic melody or chord based instruments – brass, woodwind, strings, free-reed, orchestral or more diverse.

Our main focus will be traditional folk/roots music of Europe, the Americas and beyond.

Ability to read music/tab would be an advantage, but tunes can be recorded and learned by ear. We will have a learning by ear piece each session in addition to reading music.

Group members will be encouraged to suggest their favourite pieces to the group leader for inclusion.
