You may wonder what Recreational Mathematics is - here is a definition: "Recreational mathematics is mathematics that is fun and popular - the problems should be understandable to the interested layperson, though the solutions may be harder."

Our group is for all abilities, though GCE/GCSE or higher level would be useful.  We share the exploration of mathematics in an informal context treating questions as puzzles with the emphasis on gaining fresh perspectives and seeing it as an enjoyable activity.  The group leader usually initiates topics with members of the group encouraged to contribute their own ideas and activities.
