19th Oct 2026 Change of speaker Paul Whiting “A tour of our solar system”
Paul has kindly agreed to step in at the last minute and give us one of his interesting talks about the solar system
Nov 16th 2026 Lisa Harris. East Anglian Food Museum
Lisa will talk about the restoration of the museum and the projects that will be current at the time of her talk.
Jan 18th 2027 Chris Brighten The Tragic story of the His Majesty’s Airship R101
The Tragic story of the His Majesty’s Airship R101 and its connections with a local Kesgrave family. Giving a description of the construction of the Airship and the aftermath of the accident.
On 4th October 1930, the largest means of transport in the world set off on its maiden voyage to Karachi, then in India, with the Secretary of State, Lord Thompson of Cardington, and 53 other crew and passengers, but tragically it only reached Allonne in Northern France.

Patrick talks about his life as a Funeral Celebrant and how his roles changes from a Religious Leader
14 June 2027 Steve Paul the NSPCC School Service,
This is a programme that supports primary schools by helping children understand their right to feel safe, how to recognise unsafe situations, and who they can talk to if they're worried. The talk includes how the NSPCC supports children through the Speak Out Stay Safe programme, what volunteers do in primary schools, the training and support provided and how people can get involved if they wish
